Earth Eagles
2012-11-30
Yesterday a handful of Earth Eagles, also known as Wild Turkeys, walked across the driveway, around the hydro pole and off into the bush, leaving these tracks that look like arrows pointing in the opposite direction of where they are actually going. Good camouflage tactic!
Earth Eagles are wily, cautious birds, traditionally representing abundance here in North America.
A few springtimes ago they came through the garden and ate the maple seedlings that were popping up all over. Thanks for the weeding work, magnificent birds! Especially great to have these signs right after the Aya Despatcho, too.
