Spring Equinox Celebration

The Spring Equinox celebration involved creating an altar to the four directions, and placing one of the actual elements of earth, water, fire and air at each of the directions. Flowers which reflected the colour of the directions were also placed at the appropriate direction. We then meditated on each of the elements, thanking them in turn for being in our lives.
We spent extra time with which ever one of the four directions/elements we were drawn to, getting messages to help us in this next quarter year. Then we wrote down something that we needed to shed on a piece of paper, which we rolled up, tied and hung on a sacred tree branch in the middle of the altar.
