April 4, Ceremony for the Water
2015-06-08
Today the waters of the Grand River called out for ceremony. We went to the Low Bridge in the Elora Gorge and made offerings to the Spirit of Water, Yaku Mama, and her archetype, Satchamama, being so so thankful for pure, fresh water.
The spring meltwater carried the flower offerings happily downstream. We returned to a brief snow squall, which made a sudden white contrast to the prayer flags on the South Altar.
