May 30, Day Two of the North Class and the New North Altar

Today we went to the new North Altar on the land, and there was a wonderful downpour of rain: wonderful because May has been exceedingly dry. Somehow we are managing to encourage a month's worth of rain in a weekend.
The North Altar is of Beech wood. North direction is the element Earth, the Mountains, and a beautiful piece of Amazonite that takes the form of an Apu sits on top of the altar, reminding all that we are moving to take our seats by the fire with Medicine Men and Women of all time.
