Four Winds Canada Allyu - North Class Begins

Yesterday afternoon we had the delight of assisting with the Four Winds North Class at Five Oaks Centre near Paris Ontario. The course is six days long, and we shed all of our roles, then decide which ones we want to keep, and on what terms. This is the third of seven classes, the first two being the South where we shed our personal stories, and the West where we shed our family and karmic stories.
Now the Allyu (community) is in the North, the domain of Hummingbird, Sera Kinte. Here we begin to take our place by the fire along with the Medicine Men and Women of All Time. At the opening fire last night, we could feel the Spirits of this Land standing with us at the fire. In the South Class, the Spirits of this Land stayed back along the tree line; with the continuing classes and the beautiful way we are holding the land in honour, the Spirits are coming up to the fire with us.
Yesterday five blue herons, two snapping turtles and two red tailed hawks greeted us over the course of the day, and after we opened sacred space two Turkey Vultures flew over this building. An auspicious start to the North! The picture is of the Grand River which flows beside the fire pit.
And Raccoon showed up several times, including as two (at least) baby raccoons in the woodshed.
