What a wonderful intimate gathering for this Ayni Despatcho at the Hive and Grove in Kitchener, Ontario! We were looking at balance in all things, including making ayni for the possibility of a drought here this spring. Seeing the trees healthy, the crops healthy, the land healthy, the water healthy.
Part way through we all opened our Mesas and put a little joy into them - joy is Peruvian confetti, high-test colours that just make you feel good.
We took the Despatcho over to Deb's lovely garden in Kitchener, an oasis in the city, and burned it in a beautiful copper fire holder from Turkey. At one point a cat appeared in the flames, clearly presaging Jaguar and the West Medicine Wheel class at the end of the month!
